A D V I K
It's been a week since I left my job and have been home, learning various dishes, doing chores and planning everything. And I still haven't told my parents about this, cause for now I want to hide it from them, and don't want them to mess everything up, like every time.
I sighed and started making a sandwich, which she loves. She would be tired coming after work, and I told her we could go in to check the area on Sunday, but she was stubborn and insisted that we go today, no matter what. As it was the best chance to get the readymade restaurant, which was around 20 minutes away from our home.
"Ritika, I was thinking of buying the restaurant, instead of building. It will take a lot of time."
"Perfect, Advik. So, is someone selling?"
"Yeah, there is this guy, who is moving abroad. He recently built it. But now have to leave it."
"So, let's go tomorrow!"
"But-"
"Only tomorrow!"
Coming out of the thoughts, I tossed the sandwiches on the plate when tiny hands were wrapped around my waist. I smiled.
"Missed me, husband?" She spoke while hugging me from behind and resting her head on my back.
"A lot, wife." I turned towards her and pulled her in a hug.
She giggled and pecked my lips. But before she could slip from my arms, I held her chin and kissed her.
"Mhm." She moaned in between the kiss, making my heart throb, and stirring something I wasn't ready to act on.
I grabbed her waist and made her sit on the slab, still kissing her with desire, longing and love. I tugged her t-shirt and let my hand wander above her stomach, feeling the warmth of her soft skin.
She was so delicate.
And warm.
Her hands jerked me closer to her, and her fingers itching to touch me, her hands, which were around my neck now, were shuffling the buttons of the t-shirt.
"Ritika-" I breathed, breaking the most intimate and best kiss of my life.
She looked down and then at me and smiled, a blush coating her face, "I am hungry."
My lips curled up in a smile, and I bought sandwiches for her, which she started devouring, "I will eat it and then let's go check the place."
"You know you can rest."
"Advik." She glared at me and uttered my name in an argument tone.
I nodded.

I looked at Ritika whose jaw was now hanging, "It's so beautiful, Advik."
But a deep ache left inside me- I did have money but not enough, I can't use my all money in buying it. I would cost me around 30 lacs, but I had planned 27 for the area.
Now what?
I looked at her who was still admiring the restaurant.
"So, you liked it?" Raghav, the owner of the restaurant asked us while smiling.
"We loved it!" Ritika spoke in overexcited tone.
"Shall we finalize it?" As that question left his mouth, Ritika looked at me frowning, and I could do nothing except staring at her, like a statue.
"We want to discuss personally for now." She handled the awkward silence making me sigh in relief.
And with that she held my hand and took me to the corner, and softly asked, "Are you fine with it, Advik?"
"Ritika, it's so beautiful-"
And for this I decided to tell her, and not hide from her," But I have only saved 30 lacs, Ritika and this place is of that amount, I can't put all my savings into it." I spoke; my voice layered with worry.
I looked at her to see her reaction, but it was stoic but then she cleared her throat and mused, "Advik, really?"
"In this we are together. Your dreams are mine too and I won't be there to support you who would be? "
"But Ritika-"
"You are my husband, and you have every right over my money as I have on yours." But before I could speak, she muttered, "What, your fragile ego can't take money from his wife?", Now her tone was annoyed making my heart clench.
"No, Ritika. Not at all. I am not offended at all but grateful to you, you are the reason I am trying, and about money I just didn't want to burden on you."
"Advik, you are not any burden. And also, if wanted to start something and I needed money, wouldn't you give me?"
"I would have." I replied not for one minute hesitating.
"Then it's final. And I have saved a lot of money, so don't be worried about that, okay?" she leaned towards me making me smile.
I patted her head and pulled her in a hug," Okay."
"Good, now let's finalize the deal."
With that we moved towards the area and finalized the deal, taking the documents and everything that were supposed to done.
"Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Bansal."
"Thank you." We spoke in unison and smiled.
And now we both were left alone in our new restaurant, a wide smile stretched across our faces.
"We did it!" I exclaimed, lifting her into my arms and spinning her around.
"Adviii" She giggled.
"I am so happy, Ritika." I said, smiling, while bringing her face closer to mine.
"I am too, Mr Bansal." And our lips interlocked.
Feeling the warmth of each other.

"It's clean but we will need a little decor to make it feel yours." She spoke while roaming around the place.
"Ritika. it's ours." I sternly spoke.
"Ayoo captain! Let me shop few things from the blinkit!"
"Okay"
The time passed and soon the restaurant felt like ours- warm, cozy and glowing with soft ligthts.
