"Now, what should we do?"

"Ritika, do you trust me?" His eyes held mine- steady, unblinking.

"I trust you, Advik." I replied in a heartbeat.

"Ritika" He smiled.

"You take bath. I will be there, and I swear on us, I won't look." He said as he pointed outside the shower. He continued.

"Okay."

He smiled and moved his way out of room, his back visible to me through the glass door-I looked at him for last time.

Before I could pull my t-shirt, his voice entered my ears, "Ritika, wait ... Can I turn around?"

"Haan."I breathed.

He turned towards me," it would be uncomfortable to you. Do you have any place in your room where I could hide?"

I frowned and suddenly it stuck me," Oh god, how could I forget it. There is another room connected to mine that no one knows about. When I bought it, the tenant told me it was for especially built for keeping domestic animals."

"Perfect."

"But it's too small." I looked at his tall figure.

"It's okay, Ritika. I will manage."

"But-"

"No buts, just show me the way, Ritika. I would be more uncomfortable if you would be uncomfortable because of me." He spoke as a small smile played on his face.

And my heart raced-

"Okay." With that, I made my way outside the bathroom, making sure my mother isn't there. I took his hand and showed him the place- It was small.

But somehow, he slipped himself inside and settled.

"It's okay, baby. I am comfortable." He said as if he sensed my concern.

"You sure?"

"100%"

and with that i nodded and he closed the door from inside and I went away to take bath.

As the warm water hit my skin, his words echoed.

"I would be more uncomfortable if you would be uncomfortable because of me."

I changed my clothes and went outside to check on my mother.

"Ma?" I called out.

"haa!"

"Rheya ka phone aya hai." i said as i dialed her number.

(It's rheya phone.)

"Doh minute main ayi!"

(Coming in two minutes.)

"Rheya!" I spoke as she answered my call.

"Yes?"

"Bro, i need your help. can you distract ma for like 10-minute straight."

"Why?"

"I will answer your questions after just do it." I spoke.

" Just tell."

"Rheya, please! Don't irritate me right now."

"I won't help you."

"RHEYA"

"Why are you shouting?" My mother spoke as she walked closer to me.

"Nothing, ma. Talk to Rheya."

She took my phone and started talking to Rheya and went away to her room. I closed the door slightly as her back was on door side.

I huffed and literally run to him. I knocked and whispered, "Open the door, fast. "

and in seconds he opened the door, slipped outside that room.

He breathed fast, "oh fuck, that was such a hell."

"I am sorry, Advik."

"No please don't. Your mom is gone?"

"I have distracted her- go fast."

And with that we went outside, we stood on the door.

And suddenly everything sounded funny, i laughed.

And he joined.

"Bye, will meet you after." he said and pecked my forehead before running away.

I closed the door and went inside, huffing.

FINALLY.

As i left the building, my breaths a little heavier- i slowed down my pace.

A smile played on my face as I thought of the earlier situation. As i was moving, suddenly I bumped on someone.

"Sorry."

"Advik?" The voice reached my ears and I froze.

FUCK. NO WAY. No Way. I chanted these words, and As I looked up, everything inside me stopped- heart, lungs, brain, soul... sab.

He raised an eyebrow, "Beta, yaha? Subah-subah?"

My throat dried. "Uh... I... woh... jogging?"

WHY TF DID I SAY JOGGING? I was wearing jeans. JEANS.

His eyes travelled from my messy hair to my crumpled t-shirt and then to my shaking hands.

Great. I looked like a criminal who escaped her daughter's room.

Which... technically... I did.

"Jogging?" he repeated.

I nodded like a bobblehead. "Healthy lifestyle, uncle ji."

He hummed but spoke, "But you got out of the building?"

I froze as if my soul left my body. What the fuck Am i supposed to say?

"Actually uncle, I stayed here overnight at my friend's house. We are making sure to complete the project you know before marriage."

He nodded,"Good, beta. So why are you going? Come at our home."

Vha se hi toh aya hu-

(I just came from there.)

"I would love to uncle. But you know I am getting late for the work."

He hummed and,"agli baar aao toh jrur aana, beta." He said his voice now a little soft.

(Next time, do come.)

Vhi toh aaungu uncle, mere ghar k pass.

(I will come their uncle to my home)

"Ji, jrur. Uncle." I smiled and escaped from there.

"And then I bumped to you father." She laughed.

"It was such a crazy morning."

"For real."

"For cuddle how much, we have to go through."

"If I would get to hold you, I am ready for this every day."

"Advik." She whined but continued, "Well, you don't have to. Only 12 days are left."

"Can't wait." I whispered.

12 days more and then we will be married- she will be beside me always.

And we continued talking for few hours before sleep took over us, and slept while we both were on phone.
