stepped out of the trial room, still feeling his warmth. I looked around, and my eyes stopped at him. He stood there talking to his mother about something, but soon his eyes found mine, a smile curling on his face on its own- as if I was the reason behind his happiness.

"Ritika, oh god. This was made for you. You look beautiful, bacha." His mother's voice brought me out of my trance.

"Thank you, ma." I smiled.

"You decided the outfits for other haldi and all?"

"Ma, I will order them online. I just liked this one."

"Oh, acha. Shi hai beta."

I nodded and glanced at him.

"Apko vo bula rhi hai." Advik said as he sent her away, leaving both of us alone. Again.

(She is calling you.)

"See, Mrs. Bansal, Ma also loved it."

"I chose it, Mr. Bansal. Of course, she loved it."

"Is that so?" He spoke as he closed the distance between us.

"After all, my choice is elite," I spoke, trailing my hand behind his neck.

"That it is." He said and buried his face in the crook of my neck, his hands circled my waist, hugging me.

I pressed myself against him, feeling him closer.

"You are peace." He spoke as he gasped against my skin.

"And you are home," I whispered, attaching my lips to his cheeks.

"Your kisses always make me lose my control." He spoke as he looked at me, breaking the hug, but still his hands brushed against my waist, making me shiver.

I laughed, "Glad that my touch dominates my future husband."

"Touch? I am dominated by your presence, Ritika."

I smiled, "Stop it. Mr. Bansal. My heart can't handle your words."

"Better it handle it, Mrs. Bansal. Cause I am not shutting up."

I chuckled, "You are a tease."

Before he could speak, I spoke, glancing at the watch, "It's getting late, help me untie the strings."

"Sure." He spoke as he took my hands in his, moving towards the trial room.

He closed the door and looked straight into my eyes in the reflection. My heart raced with each step toward me. His hands encircled my stomach, his face snuggled in my neck, "You look so cuddly. I want to cuddle you."

My heart warmed. I turned towards him and buried his face into my neck, "I want to too. When will we get married?" I cried out.

"fourteen days. Fourteen days and then we will be together." He whispered against my skin, pulling me closer.

"In the beginning, it felt so fast. But Advik, now it feels like time has stopped."

"True, and I am counting each day, waiting for the day you will be mine."

"Advik."

"Hnji?"

"Everything's gonna be alright, right?" I voiced my concern.

"Definitely yes. Everything's going to be right, Ritika. Nothing can go wrong if I have you beside me." He spoke without hesitation- In a way that soothed my heart. He was sure- sure of me.

"You calm my mind," I spoke.

"And you make my heart throb." He spoke, and I smiled.

"Mr. Bansal. We are getting late."

He groaned, detaching himself from me. He turned me around, making me face the mirror.

"Ritika?"

"hmm?"

"Can we click a photo?"

"Awe and yes!!" I spoke excitedly.

He pulled the phone from his pocket, and clicked the picture of us. He showed me the photo- our first photo together - I stood straight while his hands circled my stomach and his face rested on the crook of my neck.

"It's so pyaari."

"It is," he spoke softly- so softly it almost felt like a confession, like he was talking about me and not the photo.

He looked at the picture again, his eyes lingering on my face longer than necessary.

His thumb brushed the screen, tracing the outline of my cheek.

And then he whispered, almost breathlessly,

"Ritika... I'm saving this one as my wallpaper." He said as he kept his phone inside his pocket.

My heart stopped

"But everyone will see it."

"Let them know you are mine and I am yours." He whspered as he looked at me, his hands brushing against my back, untieing the strings.

My heart warmed at his words- he wasn't embarassed that I am his. He is not afraid to show thw world that I am his. It was not a so great thing but for me it was more than enough.

I nodded and the smile never leaving my face.

By evening, we shopped of everything, lehenga, bangles, jewellery, and every thing that was needed.

Our mothers were tired by the end, but smiling. We sat in the car and as he started the engine, his eyes met mine one last time.

"Done?" He asked softly.

I nodded,"Yes."

He nodded and we left the market.

In fourteen days, I wasn't just going to be a bride but his bride, and alone that made my heart race.
